The Scarpa Maestrale 4.0 model is modified for even greater comfort of use and is suitable for ski alpinists of all performance levels. The whole concept of the skeleton and the chimney ensures optimum rigidity and at the same time minimum weight. Thanks to the new SPEED LOCK XT ski/walk mechanism, even switching between walk/downhill modes is much easier and more efficient. Another advantage is the possibility of adjusting the angle of the elbow individually according to the skier's requirements. The mobility of the chimney is a great 60°, which allows you to take a decent step on flat parts and use the slide to the maximum and save energy. The skeleton, including the tongue, is made of Pebax® Rnew material, which is made from a renewable natural material - castor oil. Pebax® Rnew does not lose its flexibility at low temperatures and still behaves the same, thanks to which the user does not lose precious energy when walking or downhill. Scarpa®/Vibram® outsole made of TOP85 compound offers excellent durability and grip. Complies with DIN ISO 9523 and all TLT bindings on the market. The CROSS FIT PRO FLEX TOURING inner boot is heat moldable, has excellent insulating properties and dries quickly. Includes laces for better foot fixation. Three lightweight 2x buckles with micro-adjustment and a plastic strap on the instep that keeps the foot in the right position during ascent and descent.

• WAVE CLOSURE SYSTEM – "Wave" is a new closure system made exclusively for SCARPA®. "Wool" provides the same strength as two classic buckles, significantly reducing the weight of the skeleton. A single buckle works in conjunction with a solid cable to ensure a uniform and secure pull, resulting in unmatched fit and performance.
