The GEA LD model (or Maestrale in a skirt) is a proven model that impresses with its design, low weight and most importantly functionality. Model 4.0 is modified for even greater comfort of use. The whole concept of the frame and chimney ensures optimal rigidity and at the same time minimum weight thanks to the new ski/walk mechanism SPEED LOCK XT switching between walk/descent modes is also much easier and more efficient. Another advantage is the possibility to adjust the angle of the kneecap individually according to the skier's requirements. Mobility of the chimney is a great 60°, which will allow you to extend your step decently on flat parts and make maximum use of the slide and save energy. The skeleton, including the tongue, is made of material Pebax® Rnew, which is produced from a renewable natural material - castor oil. Pebax® Rnew does not lose its flexibility at low temperatures and still behaves the same, thanks to which the user does not lose precious energy when walking or downhill. The sole Scarpa® / Vibram® made of TOP85 compound offers excellent durability and grip. Complies with DIN ISO 9523 and all TLT bindings on the market. The inner shoe CROSS FIT PRO FLEX TOURING is heat moldable and has excellent insulating properties and dries quickly. Includes laces for better foot fixation. Three lightweight 2x buckles with micro-adjustment and a plastic strap on the instep that keeps the foot in the right position during ascent and descent.

• WAVE CLOSURE SYSTEM – "Wave" is a new closure system made exclusively for SCARPA®. "Wool" provides the same strength as two classic buckles, significantly reducing the weight of the skeleton. A single buckle works in conjunction with a solid cable to ensure a uniform and secure pull, resulting in unmatched fit and performance.
