The POC Kortal helmet provides high head protection optimized for trail and enduro. It is light, well ventilated and with extended coverage around the temples and on the back of the head. The helmet is ideal for a wide range of riding styles and has extended protection zones for extra protection in areas where most impacts occur. It also has a new patented technology, when the outer shell is separated from the inner one during a fall, thus preventing neck injuries. The helmet fits seamlessly with the Ora goggles and is designed so that the goggle strap does not block any of the helmet's ventilation.

The helmet is certified for use with e-bikes, conforming to the Dutch standard NTA8776, which tests helmets at higher impact speeds than for standard bicycle use. It is currently the only standard for e-bike helmets.
