Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Svata Kovář, an experienced coach and service technician for the Czech Alpine Skiing Team, to our AVEX SKI store. During the workshop, he guided us through the fascinating world of World Cup-level racing ski preparation. Participants had a unique opportunity to gain insight into the techniques and procedures behind the top performance of competitors on the slopes, while also trying out some professional methods themselves.
What are the secrets of a perfect glide? What to focus on when grinding edges or applying waxes? We learned all this and much more from one of the greatest experts in the field. We believe that this meeting inspired not only amateur skiers, but also professionals looking for new ideas to improve their technique.
