The skiclicker gadget will make things easier for skiers and service technicians. AVEX SKI is the first to have it

ZLÍN – The Zlín ski service AVEX SKI has become the first in the Czech Republic to use a new product known as the skiclicker for ski servicing. It helps make the work of ski service personnel easier, but it also makes things easier for skiers themselves. They no longer have to lug heavy ski boots with them to adjust their skis.

The invention was patented by the Swedish company No More Boots, which is run by two enthusiastic skiers. They were annoyed by the complicated handling of ski boots when adjusting the bindings. So they invented a tool they called the skiclicker. Each ski boot has a number stamped on the heel indicating the size of the frame in millimeters. The pair of skiers took advantage of this and built a tool that imitates the lower part of the frame with a retractable ruler. It is light and much easier to work with. The patent soon became the company's flagship product, which is distributed all over the world. And the first piece also arrived in the Czech Republic, specifically in AVEX SKI in Zlín.

The skiclicker has several advantages. For example, it makes work much more hygienic. Until now, ski service workers had to stick their hands into the not always attractively smelling ski boots to secure the boots to the bindings. This has now been eliminated, to the relief of everyone who knows this job. Service technicians also don't have to work so hard, because the skiclicker is approximately 70% lighter than a ski boot. In addition, it has an ergonomically shaped handle, so working with it is a pleasure. Thanks to easier handling, the time spent adjusting the bindings is also saved, by up to 40%. And you can already tell. Not to mention the space savings. Until now, it was necessary to find a place to store the ski boots before the order was resolved.

Skiers themselves will also feel relieved, as they no longer have to drag themselves to the shop to adjust their bindings with ski boots. Just copy the number from the heel of their boots, and that's it. Everyone will welcome the gadget, especially families with children. The more skis you carry to adjust the bindings, the more you will appreciate not having to take your boots with you. If someone is used to ordering ski service online, they can enter the skeleton number in the note.

Skiclicker has AVEX SKI available in two versions – children's and adults. It can be applied to all ski boots. But be careful, the number stamped on the heel only indicates the size of the skeleton, not the boot itself. Buying ski boots through an e-shop based on the skeleton number alone would be a gamble. When buying new boots, you need to know the size of your foot, not the skeleton. "We have had the Skiclicker available for a few weeks, and I must say that it has proven itself to be excellent. It literally goes from hand to hand," noted Robert Šperka from AVEX SKI.
