ZLÍN - Year after year, and on October 1, 2024, the Zlín ski special starts a new season, the 19th in a row. And as customers are already used to, several novelties are prepared this time as well. This time they will be marked by technical progress. The selection of goods will thus be even easier than before.
E-kiosk
The main novelty in the brick-and-mortar store is the installed e-kiosk, which can be used freely by all visitors. It is essentially a giant tablet on which customers will be able to find, for example, any offered goods, even those that are not currently displayed in the store.
Through the e-kiosk, people can not only buy goods via the e-shop directly on the spot, but also book an appointment for a service or ski equipment rental.
QR codes on skis and skialps
Another technical novelty this season are QR codes on VIP skis and skialps. Anyone who borrows premium skis can read detailed information about the skis using the reader on their smartphone. The application will offer him not only information, but also, in case of interest, the possibility to purchase the same equipment directly.
"This gadget automatically connects a person to our entire system, including the rental office and e-shop," explained Robert Šperka for AVEX SKI.
New phone number
If a customer wanted to find out any information over the phone, he used to call a landline. From this season, he will be able to use a mobile number, namely 771 505 050. "We hope that this will give our employees more flexibility. Thanks to the fact that they will be able to have a mobile phone with them, they will be ready to respond more quickly to possible phone calls," stated Šperka.
Simpler categorization of cross-country skiing
Fans of cross-country skiing, who are used to renting cross-country skis for the winter season at the AVEX SKI rental office, will also notice a slight change. In addition to the fact that they can look forward to new models this year, they will now be able to choose from only one category.
Using the application brings profit
Anyone who wants to can arrange service, rental and purchase of ski equipment directly in the brick-and-mortar store. However, everything can be ensured from the comfort of your home, thanks to the application.
Customers who order a service or loan via computer or smartphone will automatically receive a discount coupon for the next service. In addition, if they report the ski boot frame number (they can be found on the heel of every ski boot), they don't have to bring their ski boots to the service center, they only need to bring their skis with them.
Shopping through the e-shop is also advantageous. For the purchase of goods over 3,000 crowns, the customer will receive a 100-crown voucher for the next purchase. It can then be used at any time until the end of the season, i.e. until the last day of April.
Special October events
Those who hurry up and decide to buy goods from the e-shop or arrange ski servicing in the opening month of October will definitely not be fooled. A special bonus is waiting for him. "There will be significant discounts in the e-shop throughout October, which can save people a lot of money. Of course, there will be discounts in the following months, but not on such a large scale. In addition, we already have this year's goods there, and the discounts will affect some of these novelties, for example skis," said store manager Adéla Zelenková.
It will also be possible to save on ski servicing during October. If you leave nothing to chance and arrive on time, you will save 10 percent off the regular price. Just use the discount code RIJEN10.
Cooperation with schools
For the third year in a row, AVEX SKI supports primary and secondary schools that organize ski courses for their students. "We send them with an offer of a ten percent discount on rental and service. We always generate a specific discount code for schools, which their students can then use. And I must state that schools use our offer more often every year. We understand that for parents of children, ski training is their descendants are often a big financial burden and we are happy that we can at least help them a little. We are pleased that the youth are interested in winter sports and we want to support them in this," explained Robert Šperka.
