The ATOMIC Backland UL helmet is adapted for ski mountaineering and ski tours, which require maximum protection and comfort and at the same time super light weight. The EPP In-Mold hybrid construction is durable, light and extremely safe. Under the shell, Holo Core and AMID (ATOMIC Multi-Directional Impact Deflector) technologies are used, which minimize weight while providing up to 40% more impact protection than required by the respective safety standards. The helmet is also certified for skiing, mountaineering and cycling according to various standards and is complemented by a light Skimo lining, which is ideal for winter hiking in the mountains or summer cycling. 43% of parts are made from recycled material. And like all helmets in the Backland range, it includes small but significant details such as a headlamp holder, removable strap and reflective elements.
